What-are-rich-pins

Rich Pins are very similar to Twitter Cards. Sometimes called ‘Super Pins’ or ‘Enhanced Pins,’ they give the viewer additional information according to the Pin type.

There are five types of Rich Pins:

Place Pins

Place Pins allow you to display a map, address, and phone number with your Pin. They are ideal for travel enthusiasts and travel brands. As you pin more Place Pins, they form an interactive map board.

Product Pins

Product Pins are essential to ecommerce businesses. They allow you to highlight the current price, availability, and where the item can be purchased.

Article Pins

With Article Pins you can display information about your blog post or article. You will be able to highlight the author, article title, description, and URL. Additionally, Article Pins will allow you to add an automatic CTA, such as “Read this…”

Recipe Pins

If you run a food blog or your business is associated with the food industry, Recipe Pins allow you to easily share recipes. You will be able to display everything from cooking time and ingredients to servings, description, and ratings. You will also be able to display related recipes. (These recipes must be from the same domain.)

Film Pins

Film Pins are primarily used by the entertainment industry. They allow you to display details such as the release date, actors, and ratings.
