Just in case you manually update rubygems by doing:
sudo gem install rubygems-update sudo update_rubygems
And you get this error in your app:
Could not find RubyGem echoe (>= 0) (Gem::LoadError)
echoe is a gem, so you can do:
sudo gem install echoe
