12-2-2014

Have you noticed that the holidays go by WAY too fast? They seem to get so packed with this party, that event and those projects that suddenly the lights are no longer on the house, Christmas has long since passed and you can’t remember if you even had one of your mom’s shortbread cookies.

Deep breath.

There’s still time. The holidays aren’t yet over. You can still visit Candy Cane Lane, eat a cookie (maybe three) and spend an evening watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation or Elf.

No matter what it is that you love to do, make some time for it – right now. Pencil it in. Carve out 20 minutes, an hour or a whole day to just enjoy the season and be thankful and reflect on what you’re thankful for.

Activity Packed Advent Calendar

Rather than filling your advent calendar with the traditional chocolate treats, fill it with fun Christmas activities. These might include: watching “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” going for a drive to look at Christmas lights, or reading a Christmas book. Everything’s fair game.

Excuse us. We have a few cookies to eat.
